Wadestar. I received a medium holder yesterday that I purchased from Amazon. Very nice product that works as described. Thank you for your contribution to the community with this product.

Thank you, Defuse! I really appreciate you ordering the RPC Phone Holder and more importantly, I am really glad you like it!

It is great you can get one on Amazon with free shipping (I'm assuming you used Prime benefits). That is exactly why I made sure it was eligible for that service so you, the consumer, could save some money. The only bad thing...I sure enjoyed carefully boxing up each one and putting a note in the box for the customer. Customers like you, become friends to me. With that, I am glad you wrote on here so I could write you a note.

Defuse...if there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to keep in touch. I am here for you any time you need it!

Merry Christmas!

Wow I just looked those up on Amazon and those look great. Seems like the medium size is the poplar option.I'll be putting my order in shortly.

Mattydipps...wowza! You went all out! Great phone. I am sure you are going to really like it.

Yes...Large. I have a friend who has a Note 4 with an Otterbox, and unless they made it even bigger, it will fit in the Large.

If you do order one, keep in touch. I would love to know how it worked out for you!

Wade
Thanks man ! Been an apple lover for years and decided to take the leap over to a note, glad I did!

Will be buying the large one tonight when I get home, will report back for sure !

Metalizer...you won't regret it! Of course, I am biased. ;)

You are right...the Medium is the popular choice as it covers the most sizes of phones + cases.

I just got word today from my freight forwarder that it is looking like it will be next week, but possibly the following week before I get my shipment. It all has to do with short work weeks...with Christmas and New Years...and Customs agents who like those short weeks. Well, who doesn't...but I want my shipment!!!

Anywho...it will get here, and I will get it to Amazon as fast as possible so you can purchase it. Before then, I will probably offer a free shipping deal on my website so people like you can get there order in right away and get it shipped to you immediately. Stay tuned.

Hey Wade,

Being a brand new RAM owner, I was browsing the major forums for our trucks to find a good one to join and I came across this thread. I think it's awesome that you came up with this idea and did the leg work to make it a marketable product. I ordered one just a few minutes ago and decided to join up with this forum as well.

I struggled with getting my iPhone6 to stay in that slot and really could not find an easy spot to put it. I have a RAM mount for cell phones that attaches to the windshield, but this solution much more convenient!

One of the things that kept me reading was your generous attitude at the beginning of the thread, offering the file for free so anyone could print it out. Before getting to the end of the thread and finding out that you have marketed it, I was going to email you and ask for the file myself!

I work for a local private university and we have a fantastic engineering program. One of the beginning classes has students build a 3d printer as part of the class project. The technology is so versatile and really opens new doors for guys like us to get on a program like SolidWorks and design stuff. A co-worker of mine is going through that class and I was going to give it to him and see if he could print it for me.

I am glad to see that you have taken this mainstream, best of luck to you! Merry Christmas, cant wait to receive mine! :favorites13:

Jared,

Wow...you did some reading!! I realize this thread went on and on and on...but it is a pretty cool story when you think it started from the first post of someone looking for a solution...to a product being developed and manufactured.

I knew NOTHING of 3D printing when I made my first post. I just knew it could be done, so I put myself out there and went for it.

I honestly thought at that point that 3D printing would be the solution. I mean, it is great in the fact that everyone could tweak the design just right to make it perfect for their phone, but I soon realized it was not the most economical method...i.e. $93 a print.

But...everyone was so cool in prompting me to go forward with it so that is how/why I researched on how to get something manufactured. And...3 months later, a lot of money, sweat, blood and tears...here we are!

I am excited for you to get the product, but I am also excited to hear about your program at your university that is training up new inventors/entrepreneurs. Very cool!

Keep in touch, Jared! I always love hearing from people like you!

Meant every word. In fact I had more to say but Amazon made me delete it cause apparently there is a word limit lol.

Either way, this thread should be stickied :)

I noticed the medium has added shipping costs but small and large are free shipping. Just curious as to why.

I noticed the medium has added shipping costs but small and large are free shipping. Just curious as to why.

Bigdaddyisu,

Thank you for asking this question...it is a good one.

The reason is...Amazon is sold out of the Medium size (as I am as well). When Amazon sells out, they no longer offer it as a 'Prime' item because they can't deliver it in 2 days for free. The listing then reverts back to me (as you may see that under the listing it is: sold by WadeStar.

The back story is...at the beginning of December when I received my first shipment for my manufacturer, they air shipped me a small portion of my inventory so I could start fulfilling my orders. I didn't expect this, but the Medium size outsold all other sizes 2:1. Which lead to that size being sold out.

The good news is...the rest of my shipment is going to arrive this week or next week. Once it is available, I will immediately supply Amazon with more inventory so they can once again offer it as a 'Prime' item which means free 2 day shipping.

I hope this answers your question. And, feel free to write again if you are curious about any further updates!

Thank you and Happy New Year to you!
Wade
