Has anyone here used 5/30 oil in their Pentastar ?

Have you noticed any difference in

Temps?

Pressure ?

MPG ?

I have been using the 5/20 since i got my 2015 done at dealership while under warranty !

Now have 73000 miles on the clock so out of the 5 year/100k warranty !

Just curious IMO I do not think there would be much a difference !

First three oil changes =Penzoil Synth. 5W-20
Next two = Penzoil Synth. 5W-30
Next one = Penzoil Synth. 10W-30 ( Was in FL. for the winter 10W-30 apparently is all that was Avail.)
Next one = Mopar Synth. 5W-20 ( got a deal on price at dealer while truck was in for other work)
Next one = 5W-20 Penzoil Synth.
Last two ( includes present run) = 5W-20 Rotella Gas Truck
I don't believe there has been any difference in the parameters you list. If there was I certainly did not notice it.

I don't know about your 2015 but my 2018 owners manual says that it's ok to use it. Can't speak to any differences in run temperature.

I've had 5/30 in my truck pretty much since the first oil change at the dealership as they didn't have any 5/20 in stock at the time.... runs great, no problems, very happy!!!
