It took about a day but the ARH headers and catless y pipe installed. No broken bolts thank goodness. With the o2 sensor extensions started up and ran fine without any idiot light. Installed the retune from Jay Greene and it ran even better. Only issue I had was with the oil dipstick tube. I could not get it to bend right to get it back in the block. I over bent it and kinked it. So I ended up cutting about 10" of the bottom part off, hammered the end shut, put some gasket sealer on the hammered in and reinstalled it. I'll run like this till I get a get something else. Freaked out a little, because I didn't know the header wrap smokes in the beginning while it is "cureing" Took about an hour to install the pulley didn't drive it right after so I don't know of any seat of the pants benefit.

I was having some weird coolant temp readings. I checked and saw I had a leak on the under side of the thermostat housing. I went ahead and changed the 180degree thermostat while I was in there. I refilled with distilled water and redline water wetter to do a semi-flush. Temps are running rock solid at 185 now. Before they were going up and down at a ore frequent pace. I'm going to run it like this for a week and drain it and refill with Mopar coolant/distilled water. Hands need a break to heal lol. All in all a productive weekend.

If your thinking about getting a Lokar dipstick make sure you get one that is either 31 or 33". I think the standard is 24" which IMHO is to short. It is a special order and DO NOT tell them it is for a Ram--if you do they will tell you they don't make one. Tell them it is for a 5.7 in something else--Charger or Challenger etc. They are also reallllly pricey--like $150+. You can talk to "Wild one" here on the forum about his experience with Lokar. In truth, you may be better off just getting another OEM dipstick and trying to bend it again and then wrap it with something so it does not vibrate and hit one of the header tubes and set off a knock sensor and then retard your timing. Just some advice from-been there done that---LOL

I could easily bend the stock dipstick tube away from the primaries and attach it at the top/bottom bracket
However everytime a opened the hood the tube was touching the cylinder head, pulled as much as 6*timing
What a pain to try and bend the tube back after going back to stock
Definitely getting the Lokar when I reinstall my headers on the new truck
I’ll leave the stock dipstick unaltered for re-installation when removing the headers later
I think there was some discussion about attaching the 24” Lokar to the brake booster?

Well after thinking about it today. I might leave what I have in place right now and see what I can come up with that does not cost $150+. I'll pick up 1-2 stock ones and see what I can fab up. I think it was the longer ones that reached the break booster. The 24" was too short from what I read.

I have the 24 inch lokar i will sell cheap plus shipping. My header installer had it installed but i think they screwed up the O-ring so it leaked a little and i said stop screwing with it and just put my OEM one back on...LMK

The 24" versions reach to the brake booster, the 15" versions will only reach to a header bolt. ED 5015-24 should get you the 24" version ED 5015 is the 15" version. I gave up on the stock dipstick after kinking 2,lol. If you decide to get a custom one,get it made 33" long and tell them it's for a 5.7 Challenger with a custom turbo set-up,then they'll make it up for you,if you tell them it's for a truck, their automatic answer seems to be "no",lol. When I had mine made I just told them I wanted the 5.7 ends on it and 31" long, but in hindsight i'd have it made another couple inches longer.Mine reaches roughly to where the stock hardline dipstick reaches to,and even my short ass can reach it,lol
