I have a 2021 Ram Rebel, 5.7 Torque. All of a sudden my dash says auto start stop disabled service engine soon ? at the same time my engine light came on and the engine feels like its running on 7 instead of all 8? When using key fob auto start, it will turn off in 10 seconds, similar to when your on low fuel. I used my old OBD reader and it said "pend code 02" ? It asked me if I wanted to clear the auto start stop code which i did but it came back on about 10 minutes later.
I also noticed my RPM's at idle have dropped to about 500 where it's normally at 8-900 after warmed up. It actually stalled on me in the parking lot this morning making a quick errand. Never had this issue before. FYI had the oil changed 10 day ago at a local Jiffy Lube where I've been like 4-5 times since buying this truck used two year ago with 19,000 miles on it. Im at 37,000 now and this has developed ? Contacted dealer "of course they can't touch it till next Tuesday !! ARG !
Any thoughts ? I've read tons of posts about 48V battery pack could be causing it?? i read its behind back seat but how to access it does the seat back come forward I've tried no luck/
Thanks

Had an idea uncle who had a wry sense of humor. Watching a dog chase a car down the road in front of our house one day he looked at me and said “what do you suppose that dog is going to do with that car if he catches it?”

I have to ask, what are you going to do with the 48v battery pack if you figure out how to access it? If it’s going bad you can’t charge it. I wouldn’t dare disconnect it. The electronics in the truck are so sensitive you might do untold damage to the bcm or other components. Best to just wait and let the shop do their thing, that thing mostly being; taking responsibility for anything that gets screwed up by disconnecting the battery pack without knowing the proper procedure.

500 to 600 rpm is the stock idle rpm, they don't idle at 800 to 900,either your tach was whacked,or you were mistaken about the idle rpm
