Agreed, #1 looks much better.

I need to make one like that so I can have it on with a ball in the hitch. The ones I made are on a 2"x2" square pipe that takes up the hitch...

I agree. These would be tucked up on a regular truck, but mine is bodylifted so it changes things. I plan to make another specifically for body lifted trucks. I just wanted some feedback before I put too much time into it.

I mounted mine using the bumper brackets that 'y' out to each side.
But it's a cool idea.

What are you using to cut your steel with?

I lost the use of the punch press I had access to and basically can now only cut with a shear or torch for my little projects...
