AVS color matched Aero bug deflector

Just installed the AVS Aeroskin color matched bug deflector. I had the normal smoked one, but felt it stood out to much with the light silver color of my rig.

Is that an actual bug deflector or is that more of a hood protector?

It comes color matched. It is basically a hood protector. Doesn't do much for bugs. They make a version 2 model that has an angled upper edge to supposedly help deflect bugs, but it only comes in a black textured finish. I think that's silly. The deflectors/protectors should have a smooth finish.

Yup. Couldn't believe the price. And had it in 2 days free shipping. Came to 103 with tax. Crazy

The color match is pretty spot on. Can't even hardly tell it's on there from a distance.
