B16B7-15 error: center stop lamp control circuit short to battery or open

CEL is on, I pulled the above error. Analysis shows this related to the BCM (Body Control Module - TIPMCGW/FCMCGM). Am I correct in assuming this is the center brake light on the cab, and it is possible that the circuit board on the light has an issue? If so, easy fix with replacement. Or should I be looking eleswhere for error source (connectors, harness, BCM, etc.)? If it is the BCM, anyone have a part #for 2017 1500 Tradesman?

Have you confirmed that the CHMSL, or Center High Mounted Stop Lamp is inoperable at this time?

Disconnect the light at the back of the cab, reset the code and see what happens.
