Since nothing that came with my BARCAM221 explained the three wires outside the power harness, I thought I'd bench test them before my install.
They are: red, blue and white.
RED + BLUE = Normal Image
RED + WHITE = Mirror Image with Distance Grid Lines
RED + BLUE + WHITE = Normal Image with Distance Grid Lines
NO CONNECTION = Mirror Image with No Grid Lines
