Battery KIA

Hello all,

I found my battery, an Everstart MAXX, dead as a door nail this morning. I have to say I am really impressed with how long this Wal-Mart battery lasted me (5 years). Even with 110+ degree AZ summers. The original battery only lasted 3 years.

I am thinking about staying with this brand. Are there any other brands I should be looking at? I really only use my truck for daily driving and light hauling. 2005 Ram 4.7L 4X2.

Lotta people bad mouth the wal mart battery. I have run them in everything I have had for years. All make it to 5 + years. Can't ask more then that.

The last one I bought I had in my little Nissan for over 9 year before it died. I stuck one in my 2007 Ram 1500 2 days after I bought the truck new, and it is still going strong. A bit more expensive, but the price is well worth it.
