Battery Positive terminal thread sizes

Looking to wire some things to the extra studs on my battery positive side. My truck didn't come with any washers or nuts on those studs, and my one local hardware store won't let me borrow any nuts to test and see what fits, they want me to buy the nuts for $2 per. Does anyone know what thread pitches and diameters those hot studs are?

Sounds like you installed a deep cycle battery, like what are used in boats, campers, etc. Those can be either 5/16 or 3/8's. We use a lot of those in RV's, trailers, boats, etc and have seen both sizes over the years.
