Has anyone added bed rail tie downs in the holes?

I was looking at something like these.

Also, the front of my bed is all plastic with the holes covered up, has anyone cut that plastic out to reveal the hole?

I do have these on my truck use them quite often I only put them in the rear 2 spots have had no problems with them. And yes had to cut the holes out. Just used a sharp utility knife and scored a few times.

I had them on a past truck and usually use those more then the lower bed ones. More wondering about the up front area. IDK why you would cover those holes with the plastic rail.

If they made them for my RAM I'd get those rectangular rails that bolt to the bed rails and run the full length of the bed. They are powder coated black.... love those things. They look good too.

I added those also. Just have to cut out the plastic rectangle. Excellent quality and the plastic matches the side rail covers.

I've got them in the rear only. I use them all the time so I can tie things down snug against my tailgate instead of the cab.

You can find them at places like Bass Pro, Cabelas, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

I have the bull rings front and back. love em. I had some hide-a-hooks on my 1500. they're pretty weak, probably bungee cord appropriate. My bull rings, I use my ratcheted tie downs no problem.

Yup, I have to haul my full size garbage cans to the end of a 2.5 mile dirt road every week. Set them against the tailgate and ratchet strap em down with these little guys.

Yeah, I have the same ones, but on my Ram I wouldn't put too much pressure on them. It pulls on the plastic rail caps too much and not the metal like you think. I noticed this right away and looked...there's no way around it.

Do they all push down like that? I would need them to clear my bed cover.
