Hi Guys,
I am a new to Ram former GM guy and I bought a 2020 Ram Lmited 4x4 loaded. In a few weeks i am having a 5" Rough Country lift installed along with some really cool Asanti Wheels and 35x12.50x20 tires. I realize the bigger diameter tires will alter my power curve so I am looking at some of the less invasive ways to improve the curve. I am asking if anyone has any thoughts or ideas to share and help me do this.
I have used programable controllers on other GM trucks and am thinking that may be the easiest way to start. Recommendations anyone?

What gearing does your truck have? Best bang for your buck is a tune and headers. Lower numerical Gearing is your biggest downfall with larger tires.

Tuning and a freer flowing exhaust will help. The stock intake flows pretty well by all accounts so you probably don't need to spend money on an aftermarket kit.

Gears are the next step you can take. They will help get the mass of the truck, which will increased by your tire & wheel upgrade, moving much sooner and faster. What's nice is that with the right programmer you can change what your rear gears are for your computer so you won't be dealing with any CELs or other issues.

I agree with kid here ... a tune and since you are not in California maybe long tube headers ... Regearing will cost you around $2k-4K depending on where you go and I doubt you can get 4.56s on your truck to really enjoy those 35s ... but with 35s you really don't "need" to regear .... I had 3.21s with my 37s and it wasn't too bad but eventually I saw the need to regear ...

But a tune, headers and a good exhaust will definitely wake it up

Stroker and Blower.
This is really the best way for instant power. However, hemi suck for just a simple bolt on for more power. You need, Intake, exhaust, tune, even a cam to feel a good boost. A tune with exhaust with intake will show you under 50-60 hp maybe. A cam adds maybe 40-50 hp. The reason hellcat has supercharger. It’s the best!

Have you already purchased the rough country lift? If not, can I please steer you away from it. Rough Country is absolutely bottom of the barrel trash. How they ever got a name for themselves is beyond me. You'll have nothing but headaches with it.

If you haven't already, get an oil catch can for your truck too as step 1. From there look into getting a tuner with a custom tune, this is where you will see the biggest most immediate power increase. Do this before going the bolt on route or you're basically ******* money away for negligible gains

WRONG.

The only problem is that Whipple has not YET (after 12+ months!!!!) released a kit for the 20. Even though they have one for '19 (which, engine-wise is no different than the -what-10 year 4th gen engine?

Buncha baloney. I had waited for the TRX for 3+ years and finally decided to make my own (realizing it wouldn't be "the same"). So I ordered a '20 expecting to be able to put a Whipple kit on it. Now I can't, an even though the TRX is only available as a CC SSB I am reconsidering getting one.
