Hell, my shipping cost $30 from the links posted. I ended up paying $121 total for the box, air duct, filter and shipping.

Im all for trying the bigger inlet/cut 5.7 box idea!
Hows it stay in place on the box? I just got my 2016 and not looking at it right now.....
I did however add my afe pro dry filter from my 2008, seems to be a good flowing washable filter.

Got mine done. Just a note though.... On mine it had a foam seal on the inner fender. The new snorkel has a much thicker "lip" around the inlet than my stock one. I had to grind it down to about 1/4" to match the stock one to get it to go in there. Without trimming it down, it was mashing the crap out of the foam and distorting it.

Now I'm thinking... Was I supposed to remove the foam? Either way, it's in there and it's all good now.

1st pic. The 3.0 Diesel airbox and un modded snorkel.
2nd pic. The thickness of the lip on my factory 5.7 snorkel.
3rd pic. How it fits now after trimming.

There are tabs on each side of the inlet tube that lock into opening of airbox.
If you zoom in on this pic you can see the one on the top where inlet tube connects to box!

Sorry. Just double checked and it does indeed work. Brings the cost of this down to $58 for me.

I bet he won't like to publish the code. Everyone can contact him via forum or email.

Tossed my new one in yesterday! Simple and quick little mod. I like it.
Funny thing is I ordered my intake box and tube from ebay... I received THREE intake boxes and one tube!! So....
Now I have two extra boxes!...

Give us a review of it if you get the chance, esp. if any mpg gain/loss and noise difference!
Ok, I guess you can throw in any butt dyno changes :) Lower rpm, mid and upper rpm changes.
thanks!

I, personally, saw zero change in the butt dyno. My engine is bone stock though... not even a tuner. I'm not disappointed though. I'm sure it'll make more of a difference when I start adding some bolt ons.

So did anyone else have to trim that "lip" like I did?
