Bilstein 5100 2.1 was no good

EDIT: It was a bad install, as suggested below. 2.1 is prefect and these are great!

I did a lot of looking around and people all seemed to say to set the bilstein 5100's at 2.1 (2nd to last notch). So, I took them to my local shop and asked them to do just that and the outcome was my front end was higher than the rear... by a good 2".

Oh wow, that is quite the difference. What did they do to correct that if at all ?

They put the bottom plate upside down. This has happened many times. 2.1 should give you a 1" higher stands in the back.

Yup that way off. They messed up. My 2.8 setting does not even look that high

Yea sounds like they put the spring plate in upside down. How in the heck did the get the spring to collapse that far??? I can't think if anything else that could cause this.

They called back, that's exactly what happened.

Are these as bad on dodge rams as they are on f150's?
I had 5100's on a 13 fx4 & that was not a good setup @ all.It looked good but rode like chit,far worse then stock.

These ride better than stock ! Something was either #1 wrong on the install or #2 bad manufactured shock ...
