First impression was great improvement over 5100's and not as harsh of a ride. The 5100's were set at 2.8 and I also set the 6112's at 2.8 as I didn't want to lose any height and I was concern about the ride but it is much smoother and handles great. I only drove 30 miles and now it's parked so not a long-term review...great upgrade though!
That’s good. I have eibach springs on my 5100 and it was an improvement over stock but I’ve been looking at doing the 6112. Glad to see a review from 5100 to 6112 though. Not many people do that. I have the 5160 in the rear too

I wanted to do the full Eibach setup but the fronts are on back order until mid October and I didn't want to wait. So went the 6112 route up front and the Eibach rear shocks. I still have the 5100s on the rear as I haven't gotten around to installing those yet. But front 6112 from 5100 is worth the upgrade in my books! I know the springs will settle a bit but I gained 3/4" of an inch in lift as well. We'll see where they end up at once they settle.
