Hey need some help....does anyone have a link or part number for black oem tips for a 2018 Ram 1500? I called the dealer today, gave them my vin and they claimed there is nothing like that. I really would prefer oem and thought I’ve seen some with the Mopar logo on them. Thanks in advance

In my humble opinion you are wasting your $$$. The Mopar tips don't look as good & cost 1.5x as much as the carven 5 inch tips. Which are available from Amazon with free shipping.

Links below. Here's my 14 RCSB with 5 inch carven

On the Mopar ones, don't rely on the part fitment. Read the description.

I would love the 5" Carven but can't justify the cost at the moment so I panted mine with Plasti-Dip. It's holding up just fine!

Seems expensive just wanting a Mopar logo on the tips. ;) To each his own I guess.

Yeah I really don't mind the Carven's but I really wanted some Mopar ones as dumb as that sounds. B2B FABRICATIONS makes some for a bit less. Did you have to prep or anything?

Ok that's deff a different mopar part number than what I had so I'll check with the dealer. The Carven ones are nice but I really don't like the "Carven" stamp on the back. My other choice is B2B Fabrications. Thanks!

No prep, I think 30 minutes install. 20 minutes looking for the right tools, 5 minutes figuring out how I was going to get my fat *** under a lowered truck. 5 minute install.

Not dumb at all, we love our trucks and if you have Mopar stuff all round you kinda want to keep it flowing.

Didn't do much prep to Plasti-Dip the tips. Washed them thoroughly with an all purpose cleaner then gave them 5 coats of plasti-dip.

I had my OEM tips powder coated by a local place. They charged me $50(US) which was their minimum fee, if I'd had other small parts I wanted done they would have been covered under the same $50. You don't need any special high temp or ceramic powder coat as the tips don't get that hot.
