So you guys aren't all warm and chummy up there, either?

Crikey - time to head for the woods, plant some tree, get covered with ticks!
Division is being pushed everywhere i'm afraid. I'm from Sask, Alberta and Sask can provide all the oil you can handle, we better stay on topic though.

Alberta and Sask aren't going anywhere. This idea has been floated for decades and it's still not anymore popular now then it was back then. Even Quebec couldn't manage it. I'd bet good money that California leaves before Alberta or Saskatchewan and even California leaving is not going to happen.

I hear this!

I've ordered my RL HP 5W30, HPL SC 0W30, and RP 20-820 from the US and it hurts badly when I see my cc statement and then UPS knocking on my door for more loot to pay the duty on it before they hand it over!

HPL sells it by the pail which can help!

Sorry, who is HPL?

$196 per 5 gallon pail = about $9.8 per quart.

(USD of course, then add shipping, but cheaper to buy the pail than buy them in quarts)

Another report, aluminum jumped back up but all else looks to be trending in the right dirtection. Redline 5w-30 with Royal Purple filter.

MDS is deleted and has been for about ~1.5 oil changes now.

Iron and Copper headed the right way now 3 uoa's in a row, even with more miles.

Either way I have some funds earmarked for a cam/lifters/retune should the time come.

I debate whether I should wait till it fails, if it fails or just make the upgrades sooner and nip it in the bud?

Yeah well the number of people who replace cams still to have hemi tick is so high I would never replace them w/o the mis fire, period nothing to talk about. I told a fella in this forum and he did it anyway, only to have tick, and he seemed mad at me or tiffed, whatever. I felt bad, 9 grand in and he still had hemi tick and he never had a mis fire, so yeah no don't do that.

Your wear numbers are so good I wonder why you would even say that?

Just a thought that has crossed my mind from time to time for whatever reason. My primary worry has been that my interval miles are always low and the numbers wouldnt be as good if it weren't.

Appreciate the feedback and reaffirms my usual mantra of if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I could drive the truck into the ground before ever needing it fixed and I'd be just fine with that.
