Got my oil report done a little bit ago at 100k miles. I’m sitting at 110k today. I’ve been running Amsoil pretty much since new and added lube guard a time or 2. All oil changes were between 7 and 8k miles.

Quite a bit of towing a hauling miles, and I spin that thing up all time.

Big wow, you see a perfect hemi right there the way it wears. And best of all that oil is built perfect and it is holding viscosity great. Most 0w40's end up in the 10's at this mileage in a hemi. I wouldn't change nada, great report. No lubeguard needed, save the money.

This makes me want to try Amsoil 0W40 in my engine. Was this SS or XL.

Me too!! Looks good. I have run PUP 0w-40 of course, and redline 5w-30 a couple of changes, and right now I'm using HPL 0W-40. I might have to give the Amsoil a shot.

Thanks for the report. I have been using this oil in my 6.4 for several years now and the engine is quiet and smooth at all operating temperatures but I have not done a UOA. I am pleased with the oil so far and this confirm's that I will stay on this course, at least for now. I rarely have exceeded 5,000 mile oci's and while some may think that I am changing out the oil way too soon, I really don't care. With the PC pricing of Amsoil, for me around $13 per quart, this seems like REAL cheap insurance.

Tests I have seen show as good as and better on some than the Pureolater BOSS filter

Not for particle filtering efficiency. That's what this discussion has been about. Below is the formal certified laboratory test result, not just guys trying to be helpful.

I know a lot of guys on here swear by Amsoil and Redline. Does anyone have any experience with Triax lubricants? I just ordered some of their diesel oil for my tractor due to recommendations from the dealer. You can buy factory direct from their website and they make some pretty substantial claims. Don't know enough to know if they can back them up but their prices are reasonable.

Does anyone have any experience with Triax lubricants?
Triax lubricants have a dubious reputation in the industry, known mostly to insiders who are unwilling to disclose details about the company’s blending practices. As a passionate HEMI owner and lubricant enthusiast, I must advise caution.

For any vehicle you value, it’s best to avoid Triax. Trusted brands such as AMSOIL, Red Line, Mobil 1, Pennzoil, Quaker State, Castrol, and Valvoline are reliable and stand behind their products.

Triax has a track record of mislabeling specifications and base oil compositions. When they claim “PAO,” their MSDS often indicates “Group III” instead. Reports suggest that their main office operates out of a small strip mall, further casting doubt on their credibility.

In my opinion, Triax appears to be a brand without genuine lubricant expertise, relying on a toll blender to package their products. Consequently, it’s uncertain what you’re getting in a Triax container. Even StarFire, despite its flaws, is more transparent about its products.

I submitted my recent oci to Blackstone Labs at the end of last month. I guess a call is in order to find out what's going on.
The last two reports I have had (Pacifica and Cayman, Cayman isn't posted here unless someone wants to see it) took right at 30 days.

That's much longer than my prior multiple years of tests have ever taken.

Can you post where you have seen these tests?

It was on line. One where they test flow rate, hot and cold and mix the dust powder in the oil and run it so measure filtration, be sending apple to Blackstone I believe.
