I've tried jumping it with different cars and nothing. The battery seems to work fine, but every time I try to turn it on I get a *click* and that's it. Can't even put the truck in neutral to push it so that a tow truck can take it to the dealer. Only has 48 miles and worked fine this morning from my employees house to the office. Anyone experience this same problem?

Thanks, guys.

Disconnect the battery for a while. Reboot it.

i know the older ones that had the center console shifter there was a little tab you could lift up and push a little button in there to release the shifter and be able to put it in neutral so maybe theres something like that you can do

Question, don't you have road side service on a 2014 from Ram? Maybe it's a dealer thing, but seems i read i have this.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to get it into neutral , maybe call the dealer and see if there is a release.

Your owners Manuel has the number for Chyslers roadside assistance. It's free with your truck. Not sure for how long but at least a year or two. Then hit them up to get your truck towed to a service center. If all you hear is that "clicking" sound then it sounds like a dead battery to be.

Years ago I tried to jump my truck. I used these cheap Walmart cables. They are not enough to jump your truck. You need to invest in some quality cables. Not sure what cables you have, just a tip.

Look in your manual it will show you how to get it in neutral. You have to pull a little panel off to get to the neutral over ride . I'm assuming you have the 8 speed.Road side assistance doesn't last very long. Unless you bought a extended warranty.

at 48 miles I hope he still has the road side assistance. My 06 ram had a dead cell and it wouldn't jump so maybe it's something like that just a faulty battery. It can still hold voltage without having the amps.

My truck does this from time to time. If you wiggle the heck out of the shifter and push it hard to the park position it will allow the truck to start again. I assume the shifter has to be exactly in park or the truck will not start.

Give it a shot.
