Found the bumper I want and it’s power wagon compatible. Well the email back said they’ve made it work... so anyways what do y’all think? It’s 420lbs and I’ll have the tough country 4.5” lift on it. I’m gonna contact rough country and see if their front springs can handle the additional weight.

Edit: called rough country and the replacement front springs are a factory spring weight. Sooooo I need to find a set of front springs that will work with said 4.5” lift and handle 420 extra pounds... any ideas would be appreciated.

that is the heaviest bumper ive ever heard of....and the most expensive.

its a net increase of less then 420 lbs as you are removing the factory bumper.
which the truck can handle, but your handling and drive ability are going to take a dive... 400Lbs up front is crazy. Very different then a heavy passenger.

but dont get me wrong, its a solid looking bumper. and the UHMW plastic will be easy to replace after you hit a few Fords.

Dont know of any springs that will return comfort, height, and weight carrying capability all in one, the right way. At least with the specs of this bumper.
What is it about this bumper that is ideal for you?

Hey hoe... I like the side tubes. Being as they are In Australia what was the cost on that? Also what’s the weight? I wonder if the incorporated side steps will hold up like the white knuckle off road sliders do??

6.5k Australian.

Made of aircraft grade aluminium alloy, stronger and lighter than steel.
Weighs about 200lb all up.

I hit a baby camel at 50moh with mine. Slowed the ram down 5mph...

Shouldn't be too concerned about a sag . For +/- $125 go with a cheap and easy fix.
Throw in a set of in-coil airbags like a lot of guys carrying snow plows do.
I wouldn't worry about other suspension components throwing in a couple hundred extra pounds up front.
It ain't a Prius.

420#?. That's with no winch?
The other one you spotted looks pretty sturdy. I don't care for the **** dubs.

I’m going to go with the Kellerman one.
