hey guys, I am looking to do a bunch of bulb upgrades. my question is what are the codes for the LED bulbs for the flollowing:
1. the white bed lights
2. the reverse lights
3. the map lights/dome lights

If you guys know anywhere that sells an LED bulb in blue for the reverse light, let me know also!

Another question, some my lights for the A/C control panel went out. I like the stock teal color. My question is are they white bulbs with just a teal tint film behind the panel? or are they specialty bulbs for them?

"THIRD GEN LEDS
Reverse - 3rd Gens from 02-06 use 3057/3157, 07-08 use 921
Third Brake Light-921
Dome Light/Map Lights-578/212-2 (I found one that is MUCH brighter that fits both festoon style map lights and the dome light, it is a 4210-HP6 bulb, I used 'cool white', so as described above a '4210-CWHP6' bulb. It's like daylight in the cab.)
*Note* Some trucks also have the map light bulb listed as a 194.*
License Plate-168
Tail Lights/Brake Lights-3157 *Use a RED bulb for this*
Front Turn Signal-3157

INSTRUMENT CLUSTERS
Speedometer/gauge cluster-B8.5
(Will update with additional bulbs, HVAC, overhead console, ect)

Also, many of the miniature wedge base bulbs (921, 194, 168,) can often interchange, allowing you to use a brighter bulb, IF it will fit in the lens as far as the dimensions go concerning height, width, ect."

SuperbrightLEDs is pretty famous reseller

I go to superbrightleds for everything like that, only thing is for the white third brake lights... they do not sell a blue bulb, nor do they for a reverse light bulb :/

For the festoon based bulbs I'm gunna go with the regular ones, I'm going to do something interesting to my map lights, I'm going to take a cool white led strip from them and place it on the windshield. There is a little black strip just before the headliner, and this is where I'm going to place my LED strip. this will give me the white I need to see (but no one will see the LED strip) and keep the blue in the map light which people will see.

I am definitely going to post up a write up on that project, it may look cool, it may not, we will see!
