I have all the parts and drill bits, but unfortunately it rains every weekend so I haven’t gotten a chance too :banghead:

Got mine done last weekend. Hardest part is aligning the template. Sunroof definitely made the job easier than the last set it did. I have a 2500 so there was a factory harness in my passenger side A pillar for cab lights

My guess is to get the template to lay flat?

That’s primer/rust blocker, not paint chips haha definitely looks like it though.

Exactly, the folds make it tricky. Plus my template wasn’t printed square; checked it against a flat wall and double checked the measurements on each side of the template and they were off by a couple inches. Took me forever to realize that the reason I couldn’t get the template to align was because the damn thing was printed crooked.

Yours came out great. For sure aligning the Template is Key.

Just use the lines/arrows they printed on the template. They point/line up with the edge of the windshield, one on each side (right and left). So all you have to do is line up those 2 arrows with the edge of the windshield, and then make it centered (measure from each door frame to those same lines, and slide template over to make those two measurements match). Now tape it down in the front by each arrow/line, and then tape the rest of the template while smoothing it out. Don't try to lay it all out smooth at once. Was really easy for me....

x2

I just didn’t trust the template anymore after that big of a screw up, so I took my time and quadruple-measured everything hah

Cab lights installed yet? To those who have bought them.

finally installed my kit....the install wasn't difficult, the drilling was the easiest part. The overhead console was a pain to get down, the front clips didn't want to "unclip", thought I was going to break the SOB. I cut/split a large 55 gal trash bag and had that all the way across and taped to windshield to catch any shavings but IMO, most of the shavings were on the exterior top of the cab.

The wiring is simple, I used a fuse tap and connected it to fuse F79 which is actually for the clearance lights. I did make a small notch in the box for the wire to exit. The wire from the light harness was very long and reached this point with a couple feet to spare.

Truck looks great! Wish my Limited looked that good, with my replacement grill (a deer hit me!), my truck looks like sheet. I put a mesh style grill on and don't like it at all.

Anyway, I thought of jumping off that F79 also, actually wish I had instead of tapping off the back of the parking light. Where did you get that jumper, I've never seen that style before?
