a bit late to the party, but got the cab lights installed.
from reading this thread and searching others on this site, I decided to do the fasteners a bit different. I opted to use m4 rivnuts instead of the plastic threaded inserts that seem to be finicky... I also used stainless m4 button head bolts as well..
the rest of the install went just about like everyone else's. I went the fuse tap route as well, couldn't have been easier.
cab lights look a little silly now as I haven't put on the lift kit or wheels/tires yet, but they should look right at home once I do. figured it was easier now before the lift was installed.
just wanted to share a small success and say thank you to everyone who posted pictures or advice/info in this thread, it was all very helpful!
