I would believe, considering it saves them money, the wiring is up above the overhead controls, just not plugged in. Possible to buy the three buttons and hook em up? Surprised the Power Wagon didn't come with it. Thought it was top trim level?

my PW is pretty base, but I agree, with a sticker of $47, it should have come with them.

That's crazy. But the install shouldn't be hard. I would say pull down the overhead and see of there is a connector up there. But I also don't know how the openers transmit signal to the garages.

if there are no buttons i'm gonna assume that you need an overhead console that has the cutout for the buttons

Wouldn't it just be a delete plate you can Pop out that can be replaced by buttons?

no I'm gonna have to get the entire console. my main concern besides the wiring harness is also what blackedout said, I don't know if there is some sort of antenna that transmits the signal?

I've got the three buttons but can't figure out how to program it. I've had homelink before and there's always been a indicator light. That's how you know you're programming it. I have the three buttons but can't locate any homelink light.

To program them you hold the first and third one until it says "cleared". And then you get the garage door opener. And press both the button to open the garage or gate. And the desired home link button together. It'll say training on the evic, and then trained. Go in your garage. Hit the learn button on the back of the main garage opener motor. Then within 30 second hit and hold the home link button you first programmed twice for two seconds each.

I see, the whole time I was looking for a light when I should have been looking at the EVIC.

Check out fleabay. There are a bunch of Homelink transmitters for sale. $20 to $40. Then figure out where to put it. Should be an easy hook up.
