I have a 2009 2500 with the 5.7 hemi and just got a code for a cylender 1 misfire. It still drives decent. Take it to a shop and they tell me I have an injector issue that is a big project.
Problem: I need to be somewhere 4 hours away for training for a job next week..
Question: do I drive there and get the work done while I'm in training? What issues could occur?
I know it's definitely not ideal but I'm in a tight spot and looking for solutions ! Thanks!

If the engine is running fine and the engine light is not flashing then no reason you couldn't drive it. If the engine light comes on it could have been triggered by the minimal threshold of misfire events, and then the misfires have stopped...but the engine light will usually stay on for some pre-determined amount of time even if the issue is gone or not occurring at the time. If the engine light starts flashing that typically means there is an active and severe misfire occurring that should be addressed before driving anymore.
