I've noticed that my doors on my 02 quad cab don't actually meet the roof when they are closed. In fact I think there is a rather large gap. I'm wondering if I can fill this gap with weather stripping to seal better and hopefully lower some of the road and wind noise I hear?

I've seen some pictures of other 3rd Gen trucks with weather stripping on the sides of the windshield. Which is what I'm missing. Anyone know what part number that would be or maybe which aftermarket. Brand I should buy to fix this?

I dunno...mine looks about like yours. Are you having issues with it leaking or feeling air coming in while driving? Or is it just the road noise that bothers you?

I hear air coming through as well as road noise. I saw a few pictures of some 3rd gen trucks here and it looks like they have the weather stripping on each side of the windshield.

I've had a similar air leak, and my windshield stripping looks just like yours. I've also had water leak under driver side back seat that I discovered installing my subs. Still can't replicate or find the darn leak though.
