I almost had a srt wing for 50 buy ramstrat hooked in first but don't worry when he figures it out that it looks funny on his lifted monster then it's mine... Now will it fit with your t-cover ? That's the one thing I worry about cause I wanna get a cover too

No, it won't fit with the cover. It has bracing or cables that go down into the stake pocket holes and the cover has rails that go over the stake pockets. That is one of the reasons that I am not sure about how practical of an addition the wing will be. What I really want to do is make some brackets and mount it on a hard tonneau cover.

I just so happen to have my tonneau for sale if you are looking. The wing is pretty practical because if you remove 2 bolts it slides right off. So in 5 minutes its off and ready to be a truck again.

The only thing about that and I've tossed this idea around is the added weight of 500 Lbs of fiberglass in that type of cover cause I actually have a line on one for 3 bills black painted to match already and I just can't pull that trig for one I know what he paid for it two weight

I just so happen to have my tonneau for sale if you are looking. The wing is pretty practical because if you remove 2 bolts it slides right off. So in 5 minutes its off and ready to be a truck again.

If I had the cash I would buy it off you, but unfortunately I am about broke. That is good to know about the wing going on and off so easily. I still use my bed a lot and don't want to have to go through a big hassle of getting this thing off and on if I have a large item to carry.

The weight is a drawback, but I do love the security of having a locking hard cover. It seems like the 2nd gen hard covers pop up on cl all the time for like $100. The ones for 3rd gens are always $400 and up around here.

I have a hard fiberglass cover and there is no way in hell it weighs 500lbs. 250 tops

I never connected the stake pocket straps on mine. If the bolts come out and the wing falls off I didnt want that monster swinging from straps bashing the tailgate and lights! Haha.

Touché but he'll it's tough as hell to take it on and off by yourself if you need to load the truck up too

That security is great when you have a lot of tools in the bed or even when we go to the beach and have a load of stuff in the back.
