Catch can help

I got a catch can from speedlogix a while back and was getting ready to install it. Only problem is they didn't include any mounting bolts for the Z bracket. Does anyone have any idea about the size and thread of it.

Is it the Billet Tech catch can? If so, you re-use the the bolt on the block under the thermostat housing where your radiator hose connects to the block.

Ya. Ill take a look. I was thinking it bolted into an empty slot. Do you have a close up of the mount?

If it is a BT catch can, it's suppose to come with a bolt and lock washer. The catch can mounts to a open hole on our engine. Again, if it is a BT catch can, I'd just shot BT an e-mail telling them you've bought a can from a vendor and it didn't come with a bolt and ask them for the details. Hell, you might get lucky and they might send you one.

Stupid question, bear with me, have you opened the catch can yet? I remember watching one of their video's and they said they sometimes put the bolt and washer inside the catch can.

Its strange because some trucks have a bolt there already. The last 2 catch cans that I installed didnt require an extra bolt because there was already 1 in the block to use

Having said that, I just opened a BT catch can package, and there is a bolt included in the kit.

HAHA...put a little oil or grease on it. They are very tough to slide over the fittings.

It takes the blow by oil usually dumped into the intake via PCV system and puts it in a removable can which you dump out every so often.

To keep things simple, it keeps this junk from building up on your throttle body and inside your engine.
