Yes they would be covered in most full coverage policy. My friend had his stolen and insurance replaced them. My son and grandson had theirs stolen in the last couple of months.

I read a couple news articles a couple days ago where cops caught (and chased down on foot) a guy in the process of cutting off a catalytic converter. Nice mug shot with blood on his face. And another article where a guy/s trying to sell a bunch of cats were arrested.

But I doubt many are scared of the cops... and I bet these catalytic converter thieves aren't reading the news a whole lot either to be scared away..

I am thinking about these new self driving cars that are out, wondering if it started it self and moved about 4 ft ahead and back. Could dissuade the scumbags. "you don't know what happened?" I was asleep in bed ,officer. I did hear down south about some one getting shot.
In Canada , open safe, trigger lock off, unlock ammo, but pants on, say to hell with it and go back to bed.
