IMG_3674.JPG IMG_3671.JPG IMG_3671.JPG Like the title says, I changed the spark plugs on my 2010 Ram Laramie
Went with the stock NGK. I bought the truck last year with 83k on it, 92k now, didn't know what the status or the last time they were changed , so I changed them. I got a 20% off from advance auto, $65 and change out the door for 16 plugs. The old plugs didn't look bad to me, what you guys think??

I agree they don't look bad at all for nearly 100k .
I've seen this many times with these plugs , pretty impressive .

Did you have any removal / install issues ?

I honestly thought I was going to be much worse. The driver side was a little more involved because of the power booster, I had to lay flat on my stomach on the engine compartment. 2 hours total time, no issues.

They don't look bad, but for all you know they could have just been changed before you bought the truck..... They are a rather pain in the ass to change, prevents a lot of people from doing it more often.

On a stock vehicle I honestly think it's safe to go 50k+ miles on the copper plugs. On my old '13 I did them at 60k and they were starting to show some wear, but in now way were they bad. 30k miles is way too early.

Nice! I just found these on Amazon so I'm about to do it in a week or so. Did you need the magnet tool to remove the plug or did you just use the swivel socket wrench..

I used a 5/8 spark plug socket, 3/8 swivel joint, 3 inch locking extension to prevent the socket from being stuck on the plug.
