Does anyone know if it's possible to change the 4 gauge cluster with EVIC display on a 2014 1500 express to the 6 gauge cluster with EVIC display that comes on some of the higher end Rams?

I'd be willing to work with you on this. A lot of electronics cannot be swapped without getting the BCM reprogrammed to accept the new parts.

The dealer only had access to reprogram it for a few things.

if jeepguy would work with you on it, it's worth a shot.

my initial guess, having seen things like this pop up across multiple forums for multiple different vehicles, is that the cost likely outweighs the benefit.

I thought the instrument clusters were swappable....

Only exceptions being 09-12 worked, and 13-14.

Afterwards you would have to go to dealer to have them correct your mileage.

On another forum A few members have done it. Only issue that seems to be there is the compass does not work

Do you think that would be something that could be corrected by a dealer? Anyone know where the best place to get a gauge display like I'm looking for?

Not sure about the compass... but depending which radio you have, you might have that option. I have a "Compass" button on my 5.0.

Never use it....

Wrecker yard, car-part.com, ebay possibly. Not any aftermarket upgrades, so those are probably your best bet.

Mine has the 5.0 too. Pretty sure it has a compass button but I've never really cared enough to mess with it lol.

I don't see why it wouldn't work unless it's missing some of the wiring to run all aspects of the gauges. I have seen 1 express model with the "fancy" gauge cluster. The mileage is stored in the PCM the gauge only displays it so you shouldn't need the dealer to flash the mileage, I'm not 100% on this but comfortable enough to say it.

Just going off the thread in another forum. I could be wrong, I could not be. Send me a premium cluster and I will be glad to admit if I am wrong

The only reason I say that is I use to have a caliber srt4 and when putting the mopar stage 1 computer on it the 2 things that had to be flashed was the mileage and throttle setting into the new PCM. Times have changed maybe it's stored in more than 1 location now, or stored in the entertainment system it's always possible I've never changed a gauge cluster.

I had a express 2 gauge cluster that i swapped with a SLT 7" screen one. PnP connecting but just beware the milage is stored on each cluster so I have to add 12K miles to whatever my gauge says for actual milage.
