Cheaper LED's

Anyone running the cheaper LED's from amazon? Noticed a couple brands Fahren, Lasfit, and Infitary claim to be canbus compatible. Anyone have experience with these brands?

Have not bought those but am running NOVSIGHT in my low beams and they are far better than stock.

Cougar lights are inexpensive as well and get real good reviews on this forum.

I run Lasfit in my 3rd brake light and no canbus error. I wouldn’t run cheap leds in the headlights though. Also not sure since I used alfaobd to remove all light out errors anyways

I'm running Auxito LED bulbs in my Low/High beams and in my fog lights. They're Canbus compatible and i've got no issues with flickering or flashing and they look great. They're a HUGE improvement over the factory projection halogens.

I have these in my rebels low beams and they work great. The error canceler that came with it works for the picky 7” cluster. No issues and a nice cut off line. Seems to built with nice quality.

I was looking at those. Keep hearing good things but don't see an H7 on Amazon.

I actually have NINEOs II in my lows and fogs right now in my quads and love them ...

I am going to add the h7 NINEOs II to my new AlphaRex as well to match the color

Which set are you running? Looks like a couple different styles on Amazon. I've got the same plan. Looking to order the Alpharex G2 and swap to LED. was gonna just get high end halogen until I saw that LED can be cheaper. Just really not wanting to play games with resistors or Alpha since there seems to be issues with the G2.

I have the Fahren bulbs in my lows and highs and love them. 100% true plug and play. No resistors needed, no dash warnings, no flickering, adjustable and dust covers fit perfectly on my quad reflectors

I have the quad headlights. I went from stock bulbs to the leds. Best change I made on my truck.. oem bulbs sucked. No resistors needed. Was simple swap. Here is comparison mid change. Also I got those headlights thru a deal and only wound up costing me 19.99 for one set and my other truck by the time I did those were the regular 29.99 price.

I have not investigated the automotive side, but I do know that the halogen replacement LED for motorcycles do not produce a good beam. They throw out light that is glare to oncoming drivers. The pictures that I saw on this thread, do not have the sharp line either. Some rules make sense are enhance safety. DOT rules for headlight makes sense. I replaced the entire headlight to obtain a proper beam.

Unfocused beams do not help you or others. I have experimented with 10 different brand motorcycle halogen replacement LED bulbs. Priced from $40-$200, none reproduced the beam pattern of the halogen. LED and reflectors do not work well for most bulbs on the market.

No resistors needed. No errors. I have them in my wife's car with projectors and my truck with quad reflectors. Both work well.

Those look great. So far trying to decide between the Novsights and the Cougars. Glad to see the tecnology is finally catching up to do away with all the errors.

With so many good reviews on this forum about the Cougar lights, I might be inclined to give them a go...if I had another car. Ha!

Those photos show the distinct line on that wall. I'd like to see it at a 20ft distance. looks promising.

What is the issue y'all are trying to overcome? Motorcycles have smaller alternators and need to reduce electrical loads. My truck has plenty of amps. Nothing like my 1972 Chevy truck, that I had in 1986, that got an updated alternator for more amps. Mostly to run my radio.
