Not much of a update but finally going to the shop to get the custom stainless steel headers made, and exhaust bolted on. He said he would need a 3 weeks ;(
Love those wide ass rear tires ! Are they 385's or 405's?

Two inch!? Dayum, dude! How much do they really need to flow if you can't boost that motor!?

468ci plus nitrous should be around 900+ crank. I think 2” will do good. All the fastest 449-468 NA car that are running 8-9s NA are using 2”

Thought you couldn't boost the 468, especially an aluminum one due to the displacement (bore) making the block weaker...?

Won’t be a 468 when I go boost.

If this block is still good and nothing happens to it I will sleeve the block and destroke it to a 426 and add boost. I would love to keep the weight saving of the aluminum block. If it’s no good then I’ll stroke my 5.7 block to a 392 and either whipple. Once this set up is done I’ll start researching the next set up

I'm testing a VMP Friday hoping for a low 11. Future changes fuel system upgrade from -6 to -8 hoses. Wiring fuel pump (walbro 450) directly to battery. And I'm going to test 3:92 gears.
