Chevy diesle and a power wagon at the red light.

I was reading the power stroke red light thread .
This happened to me last week .
A chevy diesle passed me at high speed on the expessway . I got to red light he was right beside me .
Light turns green and he punched it .Blew me away . Of course I was triying to get more than 9.6 miles to the gallon . Slow going .
Next light he is right beside me . Light turns green he punches it again . Bwamo
That thing blew up . Juices and magic smoke were squirting all over . It stopped in the middle of the road . I just gave him the head nod as went by .

I blew 3 or 4 transmissions & even more clutches in a 1956 Chevy 3200 that i had

It had a 350 Cubic Inch ( 5.7 L ) with a Street & Strip Cam & a few other performance parts

Also had 330 ratio Ford Differential, i installed that to get rid of the original 3.90 ratio, it was good for farming, but i wanted a higher top end

I tried several standard transmissions & finally gave up on them, M21s & one M22, I even had & still have a Muncie 4 Speed
I finally had a 350 Chevy Trans with a shift kit in it, it held together quite nicely, going light to light

I truly miss that truck
