Cleaner wax vs Regular paste wax?

and you need to be cautious about using cleaner waxes unless for some reason it is absolutely necessary (tree sap or something) as they will eat the paint off your ridges and corners if you are not paying strict attention to what you are doing

I would look into sealants if you want it to last longer. Most waxes only last a month, maybe two tops, under perfect conditions. A lot of sealants are at least a few months.

Since this thread got revived....

I ended up with Adam's Liquid Paint Sealant, Hand Revive polish and the applicators for that. Just those products with a claybarring brought out the shine. I topped the Sealant with Meguiars Gold Class carnuba and that all seems to be working. Still pretty shiny a month later.
