So I threw this code today. I used my Flashpaq to check it. Came up with a coolant/ thermostat code. I added Lucas Injector cleaner this morning and went into town for bfast. About 10 minutes into ride cel came on. Haven’t driven it since it cleared but if it comes back I would a 180 tstat be a wise choice? I have been contemplating it. Thought maybe the Lucas threw an o2 code but it was coolant. I checked temps they seemed to be normal considering temp outside and normal driving.

Do you mean P0128? P1028 isn’t a possible code.

P0128 is usually a faulty thermostat. If you do a 180 you’ll need to program your fan temps.

If he still has the mechanical clutch fan on the engine,he can get away with-out re-programming the electric fan Dan. I run a 180 in the wifes stock 2016 Challenger and have never re-programmed the fans to come on earlier,as long as it's moving above about 30 clics it'll run right around the 185 mark, sitting in rush hour traffic though it'll creep up to where it used to with the stock 203 thermostat, but as soon as you start moving again it drops back down to the 185 mark.

Good to know, I should probably put a 180 in mine sometime.
