Well here is the scoop.
I have a the 545rfe trans which was rebuilt last year. No issues and running awesome. Two weeks ago I had a TSP stage 2 cam installed along with a Circle D 2800-3000 stall converter. I also had a billet valve body channel plate, updated solenoid pack (white connector), , Sonnax billet accumulator pistons, and a transgo reprogramming kit installed. Engine is running awesome! The trans, not so good. The codes P0734/35 were thrown whenever I hit 4th gear and goes into limp mode and the money light comes on.
Fast forward; shop has it back and to my surprise, they had this issue when they first started up the truck and drove it (no idea why they would send it back to me).
So the shop has it all last week and tore the trans apart. What did they find? Nothing! Trans looks wonderful, clutches, seals, bearings, everything looks brand new. They have taken the valve body in and out and apart a few times and looked over everything. They also through in the old converter to check and they codes went away, however a bunch of other codes popped up. they switched back my old plate and still same codes. Fresh oil and filters have been used. The have doubled checked wiring and they say everything is good. They have a few things to check before they get a trans guru to check on things (so they say). This repair is all on their dime as my trans was working when I drove it to their shop. They could have messed up the valve body with seals not being I sealed correctly, pump damaged when installing converter. Wiring could be an issue somewhere and they haven’t found it either. Just posting to see if anyone has had these codes. Forgot to mention I did get a P0933 Hydraulic Pressure Sensor Range Preformance that did show up when I drove it, however added some Trans fluid and it went away and never came back.
Valve body/solenoid ?????

From what I understand the PCM looks at engine RPM and transmission output speed to determine the gear and torque converter slip. If engine RPM falls outside of programmed limits for a certain gear it throws a P073X code. I'd think the converter is not as tight and the engine revs higher than expected. Did the PCM get reprogrammed to account for the different converter ?
