The shops I've talked to all tell me I need to measure my coils so they know what size to get. I looked on the airlift site and see the chart but am not so confident I can measure the inside diameter of the coils within .5" of accuracy. Aren't the coils all the same size? Does anyone have a size or part number??

I believe on the 2500 they have different coils to support more or less weight.

Buy a cheap caliper and use that. It should get you well within the desired measurement. You may have to measure the diameter of the coil on the outside, then subtract the thickness of the actual coils themselves from both sides.

Contact Airlift directly. I'm sure it's a FAQ they handle all the time. Good people. They'll set you straight.

doesn't look like they make the 1000 for the 2500, only the 5000 and 5000 ultimate.. https://www.airliftcompany.com/vehicles/ram/2500/2014/#rear

i can say from personal experience with the 5000 ultimate that it is great. Had one in my F150 and dropped a ton of pellets for a pellet stove on a pallet right into the back of the bed with no issues. Gave it some air, about 75lbs, and it brought the truck back to level . Rode like a dream as well, and you do not have to run the ultimates with any air.. stock ride with no air..
