color match the paint

I've got a 2014 that is the deep cherry red. I'm thinking about painting my engine cover and dressing it up some while I have it out installing my CAI and might find a few other things to touch up. I've been looking around but so far I can't find a matching color in a spray can. Has anyone else found something close enough to look good?

I just ordered deep cherry red spray paint from express paint to do my grill with, I'll let you know how it looks whenever I get to use it

I'm going to order a paint to match grille. I'm then going to just drop it off with my vararam lid to get painted max Steele metallic. Doing it myself never comes out right.

Yea chrome grill. Im plasti dipping my chrome probably next weekend, and im gonna match the inserts and redo my vararam lid and front emblem background.

They sell cherry red plasti dip? I would like to plasti dip my chrome grille, but I can't find bright silver plasti dip (really would like to paint it, but chrome removal myself might be a PITA). Locally they sell black and online I've seen gun metal and recently smoke.

They have more plastidip colors than you can shake a stick at and ways to custom tint any color you can dream...and yes they have a silver, look at the metalizer colors.

Nah i got color match spray for the inserts and black plastidip for the rest of the chrome

Thanks John, I am going to attempt my grill now. It will br cheaper to paint it then replace it, and probably will look better as well.

When you guys paint this plastic what are the steps you go through i have my color coded paint already from car quest in a spray can but how do i know what temps it will take and be rated for im clueless on how to do this stuff and want to paint my engine cover
