Compass calibration

I have a 2017 Outdoorsman 5.7L 4x4 and the compass quit working, i tried to re-calibrate it by the steps indicated in the book, driving in a circle, etc. it has not worked, still get no signal.
Any ideas?

My guess would be the module. I believe the sensor is in the module. Also think it is on the lfet side of the dash. Type in "compass module install" here in the search. I would think someone else also had a problem

Ok so here's my problem
I have a 22 1500 tradesman I changed out the head unit for a atoto f7 we and now I cannot get the compass to work in the info screen . I have tried to calibrate by driving in circles and thee is no option in the dash menu any ideas on what I can do .

Go back to OEM radio found this by having my compass disappear, resetting the OEM radio brought it back. Radio controls it?

Ya I figured it out and that sucks bad I was enjoying the android auto but hate not having everything work

Did you get it to work or no? My truck is a 2022 classic with the 8.4 and just tried apple car play for the first time as well and it’s pretty cool, just wish it worked over blue tooth.

8.4 should work mine is a 5 inch with UConn 3 peice of crap and when I got the truck I forgot to tell them I wanted it . You have choices if you don't have wireless tho there are cheap dongles that work very well .

Mine works, just got in the truck other day and the compass was reading - - figured I would try to save a dealer trip and it worked!
