I also had a 2012 and did not have an issue with my Trinity.

Never heard of a e mail tune .. it seems self explanatory but it seems to me that would be not as good as a pre set tune that you can customize with a good ole trial and error with a few passes down the strip ... That's how I've always fine tuned my trucks with hypertech and i had my 05 5.4 f150 running low 13.. stock was running 15 grated I had more than just a tune but with trial and error I squeeze out a better 1/4 mile run

I think the e-mail part is confusing you, lol. Tuners like Jay Green and Sean Powell usually send you a base tune to work with, and then you datalog and send the datalogs back to them and they revise the tune based upon your datalogs. You can datalog on the street and track when you're datalogging, that's actually the best way to do it.

So what ever tuner you choose if it had the capability to data log you'd send that log along your mods to a tuner, they'd make the appropriate changes then send you a tune back that you would download to your truck. It's not as precise as dyno tuning but usually they can come really close

Get ahold of one of the e-mail tuners is your best bet,but it's usually cheaper then a dyno tune.I know Jay Greene does free updates, and will send you multiple tunes ,the only time he'll charge you more,is if you change your engine combo,ie: like adding a cam, then you'll have to pay for a revised tune, but as long as you don't change anything from your initial tune,he'll pretty well work with you until you are happy.BTW there are no off the shelf cams or headers available for your 4.7.After they re-designed the heads in 08 the availability of aftermarket cams and headers fell by the wayside. After 08 the 4.7 got the good HO cams.
Join this page on facebook, and somebody will give you Jays phone number,i don't have it handy right at the moment. If you aren't on facebook, join it,as there's a lot of good facebook pages dedicated to the trucks

Jay and Sean know how to fine tune these trucks, it's the only way to go.

Actually, you buy the tuner and data log yourself....Send that to tuner of choice and he revises it then emails it to you to install..

A custom tune from either Jay Greene or Hemifever is by far the best option, but if you're limited by your budget, the Pedal Commander is the way to go.

Just remember, the PC doesn't add power, just reduces the throttle delay. A tune, even canned will give you at least a little more power and be able to reduce the delay.

Instead of spending on a peddle commander now keep saveing for a trinity..Worth the wait..MANY more options for adjustments down the road..

I'm still thinking of the superchip dashpaq .I did look at the Diablo intune I3 seeing it was a bit cheaper than the Trinity 2 .. the intune said it can be tune by a custom tuner like Jay greene ... I did not see that option for the superchip . I like the superchip a bit more for the reason I can customize myself and has a monitor and clamed more hp & tq than any other tuner I've seen so far ... I did however just found out that Diablo sport is the sister company of superchip so power gains should be about the same I would think

Don’t think the super chips is custom tunable, at least for the ram. Yes both SC and Diablo are owned by the same parent company.

The flashpaq pro is but it dose not come with any pre set tunes so that is only for custom tuning they have a flashpaq pro plus which has both pre set tunes and custom tuning but the pro plus has not been released for the ram truck only GM and Ford for now

Trust us all when we say that if you go with either of the two tuners mentioned, you will have no need to mess with it yourself. You won't be able to get it any more dialed in than they will.

I am not interested in a custom tune just the best tuner for the price which I feel Is superchip .. the only advantage with Diablo is the custom tune which I was not interested in seems ppl were trying to talk me into that option

I mentioned it only because you brought up tinkering with the tune yourself, and if you're going to adjust the canned tunes then why not have someone who knows what they're doing do so?

I have a 2012 and I bought a Diablo Intune3. First I was satisfied with the 91 octane canned tune in which I modified some parameters like MDS or adding a 20% more Throttle sensibility (it's the max). There is a lot of parameters you can modified but if you are not very knowledgeable in tuning you can do a lot of messy things to your truck.
So I tried an Hemifever tune and it's day and night with the canned tune. I just touch the pedal a little and the truck jump, the idle is more choppy and so on.
I'm very satisfied and imo it's worth the money.

But you are the only one who can decide what you wanna do...

Ok so I need thoughts on programmer or throttle booster ... If you could only choose 1 whitch one and why?

You would be better off purchasing a new aftermarket throttle body rather than doing anything electronic to your truck for a mod. The price is more reasonable and no modifications needed.

I am considering doing the throttle body also but that would be later down the road

I3 and jay green tune. He dials it in fast and easy. He is a little more expensive then hemifever but 250 for engine and trans tunes with unlimited updates it is a night and day difference in every aspect of the truck more power better power bands shift points and shifting
