Although there are bits and pieces of information across the forums, I couldn't find a full breakdown of what it takes to change over from the sport front end to the Rebel front end (bumper and grille). Of course the swap is easy with a take off bumper, but those seem to be far and few between. I'll document my full parts list along with hardware down to the part number/fastner specs as well as pictured locations along with any problems I come across. Just ordered up the parts today with no hardware. I'll update this as they come in and start getting pieced together.

There's a parts list floating around out there.. I even downloaded it a couple years ago but the price tag changed my mind for me.

Why turn a dime into a butterface?

Sell the poor truck and let someone else enjoy the last muscle truck produced. Then buy a Rebel instead of forcing a sport to look like an abomination.

Just my opinon of course.

For the amount of money you'll spend getting the conversion done just to have the Rebel front grill and bumper you might as well spend that money enhancing your Sport trim. Not counting the Rebel dudes migth puke on you cause you'll be a poser. Trust me that crowd is something else...

I'm in the same boat. As much as I love my body color panels I need more clearance in the front. Originally I thought I would do the Rebel front end for a factory look but I've had the chance to drive a Tundra with offroad bumpers. This will be the route I go.

Maybe I'll have a body shop throw come blue accent colors in there to keep me happy

I didn't see the BW44-45 transfer case listed in conversation parts. :-D
I used this parts list as well as Benny as a resource for the hardware part number, but unfortunately there are no hardware number and I also wanted to document and issues I come across/just do a write up so someone with less experience with the trucks can follow along.

Haha I expect it, I just want the factory look and fit and finish where i don't have to worry about ripping my bumper off on a tree stump. Plus I still get the full leather interior, so the rebel guys can suck it. Plus, it can't be as bad as the warlocks?? Lol

Hey, I resemble that remark. F off... j/k, I assume you were joking (if not, then my last comment stands... lol). I don't see anything wrong with someone making their truck look like whatever they want. His money, his truck.

Unfortunately a quad cab truck doesn't scream muscle to me. Regular cabs should be the only sport trucks imo. Haha I would have bought a rebel but needed the longer box and also who wants air suspension in Canada eh?

When you were looking, were you locked into the air suspension? When I bought, it was an option.

I looked at about 6 in the Edmonton area and all had air suspension. I wasn't looking at the new ones at the time as I'm not really into the new body style.

Gotcha... I haven't had any issues with my air susp so far (just past the three year mark) but I know others have. Yeah, I wouldn't want them in prolonged extreme cold.

So, the parts finally came in on Friday, so I started out with a bunch of boxes and one of each fastener ordered. It looked like a pretty daunting task at first trying to determine which holes went with what clips and bolts and screws, but there were some parts that came with hardware that helped me figure that out. Here is a picture of what I started with:View media item 29766

I went through and took pictures of all of the parts, because let's face it, Mopar descriptions and pictures are terrible, some parts also came with hardware that was not mentioned in any way. I purchased this part used, and so some clips came with it, I'm not sure if any clips or other hardware come with the part from Mopar, but I will add a complete parts list for what is required and what is included with other parts at the end of my assembly.
View media item 29767View media item 29768View media item 29769Below parts came with 6x 68369490AA (carriage bolts to hold the bumper to the frame), 6x 06100843 (Bolt retainers to hold the carriage bolts in place during installation) and 6x 68272022AA (M10 U-Clip for the the major fasteners on the bumper)
View media item 29770View media item 29771The below parts come with 6x 68272023AA which are the U-Clips for the M6 bolts, they do not come with 12 other clips that are required (6 of one type, 6 of another). These will be listed later.
View media item 29772View media item 29773The fog light bezels also come with 4x 68272023AA which are the U-Clips for the M4 bolts
View media item 29774View media item 29775The fog light brackets came with a set of hardware 13x 68272021AA and 2x 68272022AA which are the M10 torx (hex works as well) bolts used to hold the skid plate onto the main bumper, as well as the bracketing onto the bumper, with 2 of the U-clips for these bolts.
View media item 29776View media item 29777View media item 29778View media item 29779View media item 29780View media item 29781The skidplate came with another set of hardware 13x 68272021AA and 2x 68272022AA which almost accounts for the total number of M10 bolts required for the bumper (29 of the bolts and 29 of the clips are required)

My assembly steps are as follows:

1. Assemble the Fog Light Bezels (68271564AA) to the fog light brackets (68271501AC), and connect them by placing 4 clip springs (68272025AA), 2 for the left hand side and 2 for the right hand side. The bolts shouldn't be added at this point as there are some plastic parts that must be added first, this was easier to do while the mounts were attached to the bumper.

2. Attach the Skid Plate (5SX96JSCAC) to the main bumper (5SX95RXFAB) using 11 of the spring clips for the M10 Torx head bolts (68272022AA) and 11 of the M10 Torx bolts (68272021AA). The clips all attach to the main bumper, and the bolts come from the inside in the locations shown below. The tow hook cutouts are also pointed out, and are shown close up in the next step.

3. Assemble tow hook bezels (68271565AA) with 4 of the M4 bolts (68293555AA) paying attention to the "LH" and "RH" markings on the tow hook bezels, the orientation is LH = Drivers side and RH = passenger side.

4. The next step would be to mount the lower grille, unfortunately this part did not arrive with the others, and my progress has been stalled at this point... TBC
