indept nailed it. When I replaced my 07 Mega Cab with the 2018 2500 CC, I looked at the GMC 2500 apples to apples. No lifetime warranty. No solution yet to their vibration problem. Better interior and features in the Ram. Better empty ride quality in the Ram and,,,,, several thousand less. Easy economic and comfort decision.

AFM, thanks for mentioning Desert Sun. I had assumed Jack Key was the only local Ram dealer -- and have heard the service department is best avoided. I have also heard the Toyota store has about the best service department in Alamogordo.

They do and Desert Sun has a Ram Dealer in Roswell. Chuck at the Toyota dealer will go get you one in Roswell. And bring it here.

Guys, I have to take my Forester to the Subaru shop in Albuquerque this week, and have scheduled a Ram test drive with Melloy Dodge up there. We shall see.
My late father was a Dodge man, starting with a 1960 Dodge Seneca station wagon (318) followed by a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere (Slant Six) a Dodge Dart (Slant Six) and a Dodge Aspen. I will admit he was driving a Camry when he passed. RIP Sergeant Powell, 97th Infantry.

Let us know how you like it.

Thanks are due to your dad for his service. And he had some cool old Mopars.

If towing tends to be 5,000 lbs or less, I 'd go for a Honda Ridgeline. Yes, I realize that some people feel their manliness is threatened by a unibody, but for the rest of us, it makes more sense to base decisions on what we need. While the Ram is one of the closer ones, no truck will ride like a Ridgeline. I saw one riding around my home town that had over 600,000 miles on his. He needed a new paint job and the rims looks like crap, but other than that it was fine.

Indeed. Love that 318, had it in my first Dodge -- Coronet. God bless.

So far we are loving the 2019 Bighorn. I was looking for the 2018 but the ride is so much better and quieter in the 2019. My wife is loving all the rear seat room too.
