So I was looking to purchase a single side exit Corsa Sport for my 2015 RT, Well, NOTHING fits the regular cabs on the site, Which is cool, just mod the intermediate and it'll be fine, well that voids the warranty, and they dont offer the single side exit sport for 1500s.....So I message and talk to a tech, he argues me that the regular/Quads arent the same from the muffler back (even though I swapped single exhaust directly from a V6 Quad cab, to my R/T and vise versa with my own hands). Then tells me they dont offer a single side exit at all for crews either (they do, its just a Db, which I dont particularly want).

All that being said, would any of you guys show interest? He didnt reply to my offer of doing the leg work to find him a local dual exhaust truck he could hang the exsisting quad cab system, or the Db single from to confirm they fit, and quickly develop the shorter intermediate pipe (which should literally be trimming, moving a hanger at most). Id really like to show him they are missing out by not offering a warrantied setup for the regular cabs, and get them to bring the single side exit over to the sport setup....

Sorry for being so long winded fellas. If anyone is local to Corsa (Berea, Ohio not far from cleveland) , and would volunteer their regular cab, Id be glad to pass that info along, or just fill out the page on the website. Thanks for giving it a look. Mods, if this post isnt appropriate, just remove it, and let me know. Thanks!

Every aftermarket catback exhaust should fit the same, regardless of it being a regular cab, quad cab, or crew cab. many times when a manufacturer doesn't list an item to fit all models, it is simply because they have not personally confirmed fitment on that model. I'm assuming that is what's going on here.

I completely understand where you're coming from, and if I could make positive that I could get one that I could simply shorten, Id gladly buy it.

I made clear I KNEW they were the same muffler back, he insisted they were not. I agree they should fit the same, but off the jump they tell you that if you cut it, the warranty is null and void, which sucks on close to $1k worth of exhaust. So, confirmation from someone nearby may help plenty.

My other issue is looking for single side exit, they produce it for the 2500 gas trucks in a sport, but only in a DB for the 1500 trucks. I tried to see if a 2500 cat back hung the same as a 1500, but couldnt confirm well enough to spend the amount of money on a corsa. Didnt make much sense to me that you clearly have the measurements/bends down, just bend the higher grade tubing for the sport? But I never got a reply once I gave him a part number for the DB to show him that, so I am just looking for a way to show them they're losing interest by not paying something simple a bit of attention.

2500 kit will be completely different than the 1500 kit, so that will not work.

As for the 1500 kit, you would not be cutting anything in the Corsa kit. If you had to cut anything, it would be the stock piping just in front of the muffler, so Corsa would not know anything about what you did to the stock piping.

so is the corsa basically muffler back? He wasnt terribly clear with me, he lost me once he argued with me on the muffler back being different. But honestly, as of right now, Im still shafted, because I need the sport, and they only produce the single side in a DB, for whatever senseless reason -_-

Yes. Every catback I have seen for these trucks starts at the muffler. I've installed the Borla, Magnaflow, MBRP, and 1 Corsa DB kit, and they all start at the muffler.

well, thats nice to know, that makes you about 300% more knowledgeable than the person I spoke with at corsa....Now, If I could just talk them in to using their knowledge from the DB, to make me a sport kit LOL

Seriously, thanks for all the info! Are you guys corsa dealers as well? Ive gotten used to the old man quietness, and want zero drone, so its Corsa or bust for me on this truck. and so far, its looked like staying stock :roflsquared:

We are a Corsa dealer, but don't have them listed because they don't cut us much of a price break. In all honesty, you would be able to buy it for less elsewhere which is why we don't have them on the site. I have run the Borla kit in a few trucks, and can say that they have zero drone as well. The Borla kit actually comes with 2 resonators welded in to make for a very comfortable ride in the cab.

I just know how the corsa sounds, and what it comes down to honestly. I didnt see a single side exit with a borla either. I got over the dual rear exit when I was about 16

I got lost at looking at all the senseless part numbers, but if I decoded correctly, Corsa has single side exit in both sport (#14419) and DB (#24406) variants for QC/CC with 140" WB.
I don't see what's wrong with DB except it has 4" instead 4.5" tips and it's made of lower grade steel, which doesn't matter because it won't rust anyway. The muffler itself should be the same regardless of branding.

Every aftermarket catback exhaust should fit the same, regardless of it being a regular cab, quad cab, or crew cab.
I think the guy at Corsa was right - single side exhaust for 140" WB won't fit directly to regular cab.
Fellow user had to make small mods to fit Sport dual rear exit (#14405) to his RT - not sure if single exit makes any difference.
Since it didn't fit his RCSB, it makes sense that it wouldn't be a direct fit for RC 8' and CC 6'4" as well.

Fits Regular cabs fine. Had to trim about .5" off the end of the tailpipes to get the tips to tuck in better. Also the Passenger side was about 3" lower...So I have to bend the 1 portion of the hanger out of the way, and reposition the isolator. Fits great now tho.

Very little work needed.

Heres a video. In typical Corsa Fashion, Zero drone and IMO sounds amazing.

I'm not sure if you saw, but I took my current exhaust off a 140"wb truck, installed my oe dual exhaust. 100% bolt on. Which tells me bgrays exhaust would've had to be modded on a 4 door as well imo. Brandon is why I'm pursuing this, I'm a bit of the reason he's here lol

If you listen, the db is in fact a bit more raw and raspy. And o also prefer the twin tip.

Before I install my corsa I asked if they offer any exhaust for RCSB, they told me to contact Titan motorsport to discuss fitment. because they don't offer any exhaust for RCSB and I think they don't have any plan to do it.

I thought I would chime in on this older thread for others. I installed the Corsa 14405BLK on my RCSB. I had to cut the exhaust hangers on the muffler so that they didn't hit the frame. I also had to use a 3lb hammer to dent the passenger-side piping so that it didn't hit the upper cross-member on the bed. Being that I have a 1.5" body lift, the tips don't stick out as much as I’d like from the rear bumper. On the driver's side, I could have made it work, but on the passenger side, there wasn't enough length for the clamps and couplings to fully seat to my satisfaction. I also had to switch to a one-hole exhaust hanger on the passenger side to center my tip.

The low RPM drone on the MagnaFlow that I had on since new was horrible. This Corsa sounds great, less drone, straight through muffler and was well worth the time and effort to install!

Sorry for the blurry pic, bad lighting.
