Looking at install options now. Was quoted $740 with alignment at TSD here in San Antonio. Thought his was a little pricey. What is a good price for install and alignment on this kit?

Thats a typical install price....
I say ~$500 with alignment is a great deal. Try to find something cheaper

Just keep asking around man, don't rush it!

Picked it up from suspension specialists after seeing the kit posted on eBay. Gave em a call and they took care of it quick. Excited to get it on.

I wouldn't be asking if I had the mechanical abilities and know how lol. Even if I did have a set of instructions and a good partner in crime to help a couple grand of tools were stolen a few years back and I'm still too depressed to start replacing. Guess you could say that $ went to the truck and lift

Ignore that. The only difference is the engine weight.

Those guys are terrible at marketing/selling for Maxtrac.

What's with that? Why is there a difference between HEMI and NON HEMI?

Not sure. I couldn't figure it out. But it's like that on all 4th gens with any brand of kits. I had to call and ask because the eBay link says it doesn't actually fit. Maxtrac didn't announce the release of the actual lift info on the web until a few days after I ordered.

Hey guys, sorry I have not had a chance to help out answering questions. We were waiting to become an official supporting vendor on the site and we now are! (name change, avatar change, signature, member section coming soon!).. Anyways sorry for any confusion regarding our 7" kit. The kit fits any 09-13 Ram 1500 2wd truck with either the 4.7L V8 or the 5.7L V8 Hemi. The same front coil spring is used for both engines. You will get 7" of lift if your vehicle is a NON Hemi and you will get 6.5" of lift if your vehicle has the Hemi motor, due to the weight differences. The kits are the same, part numbers are the same, just slight variances in front height due to the weight of two engines. I hope this helps clear up any confusion on the kits. Also, I have noticed that a lot of the shops and websites that carry Maxtrac have not had a chance to get our Ram 1500 2wd spindles/lift kits on their websites yet. We have done a press release to our customers but it takes time for them to get the actual product put up on their site. Anybody that is a Maxtrac dealer can get any of the products we offer so you may have to give them a call for pricing/purchasing.
