Has anyone installed the 87mm TB on a 13' yet, Was it a noticeable difference?
I am going with a vararam intake and I'd like to order the TB at the same time, if its really worth it.. without being able to tune the 13s yet kind of has me questioning the TB.

Also, what are you guys doing on the exhaust? I don't want to lose any bottom end. I know on my 08 ram I lost a lot of bottom end with my magnaflow exhaust.

Last question.. Has anyone installed the 180 t stat on a 13? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Jim.

I have the 14" Magnaflow muffler
Sounds good Dident notice any loss of power low end

I also have the VR CAI
It's not bad seen the difference in top end

And Also have The 180 Degree T-Stat
Haven't Seen Any Difference In Power
But I Am Runing 10-15 Degrees Cooler

If You Do Decide to Do T-Stat
Make Sure You Add The Proper Coolant Back In
Or Use A Bucket And Catch What You Lose

These 13s Require A O.A.T Coolant
Can Not Be Mixed With Any Thing Else

From everyone I've heard from that has both, it's done alot of difference. I only have the VR right now, but I was talking to Ken from Moe's and he was telling me that when you get the 87mm TB it makes a pretty noticeable difference in acceleration. From what I can tell and have read though, you will really only notice the difference at WOT.

The Vararam and Moe's 87mm TB combo has really shown some great results for the guys running this combo. We have about 50-60 customers running this setup, and everyone has been happy with the results. The way the Vararam kit works, the faster you drive, the more air is being forced into the TB. Then combine that with our tapered port design on the throttle body, and it makes for a great combination for both mid-upper rpm power and increased throttle response down low.

As for the exhaust, you wont notice any loss of tq unless you go too big on the exhaust piping. If you just replace the factory muffler with a nice straight through Magnaflow that uses the same diameter piping, then you will be good to go.
