This morning i thought I'd waste my time and try to get some insider info, no luck. I called the dealer about this tsb and it having my vehicle on it. Dealer of coarse said well thers nothing on your vin for recalls. Yeh, i know that d.a.There's a TSB (Ram-TSB#18-060-20/ NHTSA_TSB#_10180256) that you need to read if you have to flash the ECM on the HD trucks because there's two types of pumps now. The TSB help you identify the CP4 pump used on the truck.
That would indicate there's a new revised CP4. The "older" RAM CP4's (Asymmetrical) are changing the lobes back to the style that the CP3 used (Symmetrical) with the new CP4 having Symmetrical lobes. Linked is the TSB, also attached.

So I called fca customer care and spoke with jody. She actually did some investigation, came up empty but at least she tried. She did document my high concerns with the cp4 possibly failing. She said that she could not find any info that was happening on the fuel pump but she knows they leaned away from it on the 21s. Hmmmmmm whyyyyyy??? Somebody is supposed to call me back, but probably never. When i asked about taking it into a dealership, even though there's no current campaign or recall to have the pump changed to the cp3 or to flash the system and or make it the new symmetrical version, she said that there is nothing in the system that indicates dealers do anything in any relation to replace or correct the fuel pump. I expressed, I'm sure ram doesn't want to spend $17,000 no more than I want to if it blows up and that I'm just trying to prevent a high cost bill for either party and to replace the pump now, as I'm highly concerned about it letting go when were hauling our fiver and losing all power and having no brakes. She acknowledged my concerns, but I'm also realistic, my notes probably got deleated
