CST 4" lift ADVICE! Stock rims with bigger tires

2014 Dodge Ram Blackout express 5.7 Hemi 2wd

Place in Jacksonville will install a CST 4" lift for $1500 total. (4" lift spindles, steel braided brake lines, rear 1" kit)

They are also saying that I can clear 35x12.5x20 on my stock black rims. Is this true? Will it need spacers? Or trimming? Im also replacing the UCA with the Mevotech UCA's so that hopefully I don't run into the ball joint problem that I have been reading all about. Bought the truck Jan 2 2014.

Im wanting to order tires from tread depot since it seems like a pretty decent price for Toyo Open Country RT. 45K mileage warranty and its between an all terrain and a mud tire. $1733 with 3 years road protection (flat repairs, tire replacement) So 35x12.5x20? Will they fit without a spacer?

Im doing the 4" lift for sure. Just need help on what size tire I need to put on my stock 20" rims.

Looks like you are doing all the things right with the lift. I don't think you will have a problem, but I will wait until some that has the same setup to chime in.

The stock rims are only 8" wide on the blackout. You'll need at least 9" wide wheels.

Almost all 12.50 inch wide tires are approved for a 8 to 10 inch wide wheel. Normally, a 12.50 inch wide tire on the stock wheels will result in slight rubbing on the control arms at full steering lock. But the lift spindles will probably increase the front track width enough to cure that.

Unfortunately it does not look like my stock rims will work. They are 8" wide and the tires I want on my truck require a minimum 8.5" rim....

So I've found some rims I like, they're 20x9 with +18 offset and 5.71 backspacing, will these work with a lift and not rub on anything. Backspacing/offset is confusing me

And I'm not joing with the cat lift anymore. Ive decided on the Maxtrac ether 4.5 or 7" lift. Debating on which one will look better/be more functional. I have no idea.. All I know is that either way I have to get this wheel thing figured out

I'm glad u decided on the Maxtrac...I was just fixing to steer u away from CST and go with Maxtrac. I have the 4.5" spindles with their 3" rear lift and my truck sits level and rides like stock! I love it and would buy it 100 times again if I had to. Here's a pic for reference..
