Dash Speaker Replacement Question

I put new 4 ohm dash speakers in and added a 4 ohm resistor to each. I read on here that some people used 4 ohm x 10 watt resistors. I had access to 4 ohm 20 watt resistors. I don't know how the wattage affects the sound. Are the 20 watts ok to use or should I go to 10 watts?

answered my own question. 20 watts won't blow as easy. No change to the sound. Just a bigger resistor.

im wanting to do this you have pics and part numbers ? did this solve the over driving of the fronts compared too all others ?
