Greeting all!

I have a 2018 Lonestar with the 8.4 UAS and base 6 speaker system. Today I started replacing the back door speakers with 6.5" coaxial.

I did not use adapters for the speaker lines, and did splice into the factor wires. I check for polarity and wired up the new speaker leads. When I checked the speaker I get no sound. The new speaker is 4 ohms like the factory speaker. I also undid the new wiring and reattached the factor connector and again no sound. I went ahead and did the passenger with no issue.

Any Idea what the issue could be?

I also put the aftermarket speaker back and again no change.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Well I got it to work!

I took the HU out for a minute or two the reinstalled it.

When I turned it back on the speaker was working.

Had same issue. The wire for the rear driver door in the dash was not seated completely
